We had a good time entertaining Tonya's Mom for the weekend this past weekend. She came in Friday and stayed until Sunday. We did a few touristy things like going to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner and visiting Navy Pier. It was fun and of course the cheesecake was delicious. We are looking forward to visiting West Michigan on the 4th of July weekend and seeing our friends. I am just hoping we can afford the gas. Just thought I would post something before Katie e-mailed me wondering what was going on. Just ribbing you Katie, you know I love ya. For now that is all that is happening in our lives.

Great News! Tonya has a new job for next school year. She will be teaching 2nd grade at the school she was at this past year. She will still have students with special needs included into her classroom, but, for the first time ever is not working directly in special education. I just thought I would pass this great news along to all our friends and family.

Training for the marathon officially began this week. It has been rough and neither one of us are looking forward to the 8 miles we have to run on Sunday, but we are going to do it. We had a great time this past weekend when Katie and Cort came and visited us in Chi-town. Tonya and Katie went and enjoyed the Sex in the City movie while Mat, Cort and I enjoyed the Cubs game at the local bar. It was great seeing the two of them and having them hang out with us. Tonya and I just enjoyed our 8th wedding anniversary about a week ago, I know what you're thinking, how has Tonya been able to live with me that long, but lucky for me she has. We are really enjoying our lives right now and I don't think we could be any happier. If any of you are ever in Chicago this summer give a ring so we can hang out.
